International Cooperation of the Serbian Academy of Sciences and Arts
International cooperation is one of the main activities and programme priorities
of the Serbian Academy of Sciences and Arts. It is realized through:

Exchange of researchers within bilateral agreements on scientific cooperation
(interacademic, interinstitutional, as well as agreements at international
level). The bilateral agreement signed with some 20 research institutions in 19
counties provide an annual quota for non-foreign currency exchange of
researchers with over 170 man/weeks;

Execution of joint research projects based on bilateral agreements with the
volume of 146 scientific projects;

Multilateral cooperation which implies activities related to program financed
from the European Union funds or some other funds (FP6, FP7, SEE-ERA.NET, COST,
IAP, ICSU, UNESCO);

Membership in non-government international research organizations and panels at
all levels, namely at the world (IAP, ISCU), European (ALLEA, IUA, EASAH,
EASA), regional (CEEN, BSEC) and Balkan (IACSEE) levels;
-
Organization of international scientific gatherings, round tables, lectures by
scientist from abroad and from the country;
-
Participation by SASA members at scientific gatherings abroad, work bodies, in
the work of international scientific organizations, agencies, laboratories.
