In 1989 the SASA Presidency established the Museum of Science and Technology at the proposal of the Department of Natural and Mathematical Sciences,
Department of Technical Sciences and Department of Medical Sciences.
The SASA Presidency entrusted the operation of the future Museum of Science and Technology with the Section of the Institute of Technical Sciences.
In 1997 the SASA ensured the premises to house the Gallery of Science and Technology, and up until the year 2005 the Museum of Science and Technology
had organized exhibitions and managed the Gallery program under the patronage of Academician Aleksаndаr Despić.
In 2006 the Gallery was renamed the SASA Gallery of Science and Technology and started organizing the program activities independently under the
leadership of its Director, Academician Aleksаndar Mаrinčić.
The purpose of the Gallery is the promotion and popularization of science and technology. To that extent, the Gallery organizes exhibitions relating
to all fields of science and technology, particularly the history of science and technology in our region, as well as other accompanying activities
such as lectures, presentations, book promotions and screening of science films.
The SASA Gallery of Science and Technology avails of an exhibition venue with around 100 sqm in area used for exhibition purposes.
