The Vice President of the Government of the Republic of Serbia and Minister of Science Božidar Djelić visited today the Academy of Sciences and Art and talked to the SASA President, academician Nikola Hajdin, Vice President Nikola Tasić and Secretary General Dimitrije Stefanović.
SASA expressed its support to the Government's policy of fast European integrations and offered to assist by its work, achievements in research and art in a better presentation of Serbia in the world.
SASA President, academician Nikola Hajdin emphasized the significance of joining forces of SASA, institutions of higher education, research institutes and all other scientific potentials of the country as prime movers of economic, industrial and comprehensive economic development of Serbia.
The Vice President and Minister of Science expressed his satisfaction with the overall good cooperation with the Serbian Academy of Sciences and Art and emphasized the full readiness of the Government and the Ministry to support SASA's major projects and activities. The representatives of the Serbian Academy of Sciences and Art demanded support for faster enactment of the SASA Law and acquainted the Vice President with the significance of that Law.
