Interview: Nikola Hajdin, President of the Serbian Academy of Sciences and Arts

The future of our society lies in investments in science

Insufficient funds for science will exert profound consequences on the development of Serbia. Stimulation and financial aid should be provided by the state, with a clear aim to improve technology and, eventually, economy and living standard. The Academy could not provide answers to all questions that emerge in life, but as the organization that fights for the scientific and artistic truth, we will give our best efforts to preserve the course of development of our society – says Nikola Hajdin, President of the Serbian Academy of Sciences and Arts, for “Blic”.

Reputation of our academicians is evidenced by the fact that our country has got eight out of ten projects for the West Balkans.
