Proposal to Establish the Ministry of Higher Education, Science and Technological Development

Modern prosperous societies with sustainable development are those founded on knowledge. The main common EU goal is to create knowledge-based societies and economies, and thus achieve greater integration.
Formation of the Ministry of Higher Education, Science and Technological Development would be an essential step forward for our country to becoming a knowledge-based society. Such Ministry would optimally contribute to establishing the actual link between our universities, research institutions and industry in order to provide a critical mass of young people who have excellent science-based general and applied knowledge acquired through higher education, and who can face the vital problems in the development of our country.
Doctoral studies are a new qualitative advancement in creation of a competitive and sustainable science-education-development space. The establishment of the Ministry of Higher Education, Science and Technological Development would enable an interactive link with the European university domain, more effective transfer of new technologies and further encouragement to innovation and high-technology entrepreneurship through doctoral and postdoctoral studies.
