AGREEMENT ON COOPERATION OF THE SASA AND ASRS

The Presidents of the Serbian Academy of Sciences and Arts and the Academy of Sciences and Arts of the Republic of Srpska, Vladimir Kostic and Rajko Kuzmanovic respectively, have signed today the Scientific Cooperation Agreement.
The Serbian Academy of Sciences and Arts received the delegation of the Academy of Sciences and Arts of the Republic of Srpska the members of which were: academician Rajko Kuzmanovic, President of the Academy, academician Ljubomir Zukovic, Vice-President, academician Vaskrsija Janjic, Vice-President and academician Dragoljub Mirjanic, Secretary General.
The meeting of the members of two Academies was dedicated to the improvement of interacademic cooperation with the purpose of developing scientific and research cooperation and realization of joint projects.

Apart from the members of the SASA Executive Council, the secretaries of Academy Departments, directors of the SASA Library, Archive and Gallery, former members of the SASA Executive Council and the members of the Academy of Sciences and Arts of the Republic of Srpska who are also SASA members attended the meeting. Mr. Mladjen Cicovic, the director of the Republic of Srpska Representative Office in Belgrade, was also a guest at the meeting.
It was agreed that cooperation should be established in the field of organization of scientific conferences, publishing activities, implementation of projects such as the preparation of the Encyclopedia of the Republic of Srpska and scientific cooperation.
