OPENING CEREMONY OF THE SASA BRANCH IN NIS

The Serbian Academy of Sciences and Arts also has its Branch in Novi Sad as well as the Centers for Scientific Research in Kragujevac and Nis.
The Centers have been established in cooperation with the Universities in Kragujevac and Nis.
The Center for Scientific Research of the SASA and the University of Nis, after a one-year work of the Committee, grew into the SASA Branch in Nis.
The Branch opening ceremony is a major scientific, educational and cultural event in Nis and in the entire region gravitating towards this city. Capacity building of local centers for scientific research and cultural centers in Serbia is extremely important for the development of the society and the state, particularly for preventing the “brain drain“.
