The main structure of the bridge is a composite continuous girder system with prestressed cables.

The overall length of the bridge is 162 meters, with spans 40.50 + 81.00 + 40.50 m.

Characteristic of this bridge are the high piers, of which one is 51.42 m high.

Distinguishing this bridge, in certain respects, from composite bridges of similar spans built in our country until then, is the fact that it was the first time that domestically manufactured prestressed bolts were used to connect bridge elements.

The bridge was completed and opened for traffic in 1970.
