38th Concert season opening at the SASA Gallery

The 38th concert season officially opens at the SASA Gallery, on Thursday, 3 October, at 6 p.m. with a concert of Serbian and Russian spiritual music which will be performed by ACCA ‘Ivo Lola Ribar’Choir.

The SASA Gallery is a unique institution in Serbia which has continuously and intensively provided opportunities to young musician to perform. As per tradition of the Gallery, the concerts will regularly take place on Mondays and Thursdays, starting at 6 p.m.

The admission is free. The Gallery has prepared a rich programme of instrumental and vocal chamber music, as well as choir music for this season. As usual, all composers, who are members of SASA, will have an evening of their works being performed, some even as premieres.

– The concerts for a very young audience, i.e. for students of primary and secondary schools is a novelty of this season. This is truly a unique opportunity for young people to get acquainted with classical music which is extremely important for the times when the culture is drowning and it does not provide a sufficient number of art events – said Academician Ivan Jevtić, musical director of the SASA Gallery musical programme.
