World Development Report

The World Bank presented the World Development Report at the SASA Hall 2, on Wednesday, 10 April.

The World Development Report is the most important annual publication of the World Bank and this year it deals with the change of the nature of work as a result of advances in technology, as well as the society’s response to those challenges. Since investing into human capital is becoming a priority to governments all over the world, the Report includes suggestions as to how to mobilize additional revenues for investment into human capital and social protection of the citizens.

The presentation, organized by the Serbian Academy of Sciences and Arts, the Serbian Association of Economists and the Office of the World Bank in Serbia, was given by Simeon Đankov, Director of WB Development Economics.
