Conference of the European Society of Cardiology (ESC) Working Group on Myocardial & Pericardial Diseases – M&PD
The Conference of the European Society of Cardiology (ESC) Working Group on Myocardial & Pericardial Diseases will be held on 15-16 November 2023, at 8.30 a.m. The opening ceremony is organized at the SASA Grand Hall, on Wednesday, 15 November, at 2 p.m.
This is the most important meeting of world-class experts for inherited and acquired diseases of the myocardium (cardiomyopathies and myocarditis) and pericardial diseases. The European Society of Cardiology (ESC), the largest organization with 110,000 members, organizes this meeting every year in a different location. It was held at the Serbian Academy of Sciences and Arts in 2006 and 2009 (organized by Academician Petar Seferović) and in 2018 (organized by Professor Arsen Ristić). Along with Italy and Germany, Serbia is the only country which hosted this conference more than twice in the Society’s 40-year-long history owing to a high international reputation, research and publications our researchers have in this field.
