Presentation of publications ‘Frescoes of Markov Monastery’ and ‘The Church of Holy Apostles of Peter and Paul in Ras’

Organized by the Board for the History of Art and Vardar Board of the SASA Department of Historical Sciences, the editions ‘Frescoes of Markov Monastery’ by Marka Tomić Đurić, published by the Institute of Balkan Studies, Archbishopric of Ohrid and Metropolitanate of Skopje, Bitola, and ‘The Church of Holy Apostles of Peter and Paul in Ras’ by Miodrag Marković and Dragan Vojvodić, published by Platoneum publishing house from Novi Sad, will be presented at the SASA Audiovisual Archive and Center for Digitization (3 Vuk Karadžić Street, Screening Hall), on Thursday, 13 October, at 1 p.m.

Miodrag Marković, SASA full member, Dragan Vojvodić, SASA corresponding member, Tatjana Starodubcev, PhD, full professor of the Academy of Fine Arts in Novi Sad and Marka Tomić, PhD,  research associate of the Institute of Byzantine Studies will discuss the publication ‘Frescoes of Markov Monastery’. The publication ’The Church of Holy Apostles of Peter and Paul in Ras’ will be reviewed by Danica Popović, PhD, principal research fellow of the Institute of Balkan Studies, Predrag Komatina, PhD, senior research associate of the SASA Institute of Byzantine Studies, Nevena Debljović Ristić, PhD, assistant professor at the Faculty of Architecture in Belgrade,  Miodrag Marković, SASA full member, and Dragan Vojvodić, SASA corresponding member.
