Round table ’Revival of Villages in Serbia: Problems, Models and Agents’

The round table titled ’Revival of Villages in Serbia: Problems, Models and Agents’ will be held at the SASA Hall 2, on Wednesday, 26 October, at 10 a.m. The depopulation and devastation of rural areas in Serbia, as well as the model of actions of sustainable demographic, economic, social and cultural development of Serbian villages, have been expounded in the public document titled ‘National Programme for Revival of Serbian Villages’. It highlighted that alternative and long-term prospective strategy for the development of Serbian villages and agriculture was possible only as part of other thorough institutional reforms in Serbia, which are nowadays indispensable but have largely been blocked due to very unfavourable external and internal geo-political circumstances.
