23 September – 19 October, 2019

Exhibition curator: Snežana Toševa, museum advisor

On the occasion of 30 years of the Museum of Science and Technology, an exhibition titled ‘Searching for Inspiration in Vernacular Architecture – from the Collections of the Museum of Science and Technology’ will open at the SASA Gallery of Science and Technology.

The exhibition is dedicated to architects who were inspired by vernacular architecture in various ways, and whose works have been kept at the Museum of Science and Technology. In addition to individual works from the opus of academicians Branislav Kojić, Aleksandar Deroko, Božidar Petrović and Zoran Petrović, the exhibition shall also unveil their close connection and cooperation in research and preservation of vernacular architecture. Thanks to them, this valuable vernacular heritage has been protected from obscurity.

The organizers of the exhibition are the Museum of Science and Technology and the Gallery of Science and Technology of the Serbian Academy of Sciences and Arts.
