Updates in Human Reproduction

The 13th symposium titled Updates in Human Reproduction ‘From Egg Donation to Mitochondrial Donation: Are there any risks?’ will open at the SASA Grand Hall, on Thursday, 5 December, at 5.30 p.m. The remaining two days, on 6-7 December, the symposium will take place at the Hotel M.

The symposium addresses the most advanced achievements and issues from the complete spectrum of research in human reproduction. The main topics are fertility preservation, oncofertility, donation of eggs and spermatozoids in Serbia – what the profession, law, patients say, the experiences of the region in overcoming regulatory and practical aspects of donation, legislature concerning In vitro fertilisation, control of the quality and accreditation of in vitro fertilisation centres, social egg freezing, updates in foetal pathology as well as demographic challenges in Serbia.

A great number of domestic and foreign experts in the field of human reproduction will present at the symposium. The work of the symposium will be carried out by means of plenary lectures, oral and poster presentations of accepted papers, panel discussions and round tables.
