University professor: full professor of the Faculty of Economics in Belgrade from 1965.; Economics institute of Serbia, from 1949 until 1984. (Until 1965 he was its director), retired in 1984; member of the Republic Commission for Economics reform from 1987

Membership of SASA: Department of Social Sciences; corresponding member from 15 December 1983; full member from 15 December 1988 – Department of Social Sciences, secretary from 2 December 1993 until 18 November 1997; also from 2 October  2001 – ; SASA Presidency member from 28 May 1998 until October 2001
