Chronology (1841-1947)

The chronology records important events in the history of learned societies and the Academy: efforts to establish a standardised language and orthography, initiatives leading to the foundation of the first educational, cultural and scientific institutions in Serbia, and the emergence of the first scientific publications. The chronology follows the activities of members who shaped scientific, cultural and political thought in Serbia from the second half of the 19th century to the mid-20th century.
