Presentation of the “Ivan Tabaković” Award for 2025 to artist Biljana Đurđević

The “Ivan Tabaković” Award will be presented to the artist Biljana Đurđević at the SASA Lounge (35 Kneza Mihaila Street), on Tuesday, 16 December, at 11 a.m.

At the beginning of 2022, the Serbian Academy of Sciences and Arts, as the founding institution, re-established the ‘Ivan Tabaković’ Award, which, as was the case with the previous award of the “Ivan Tabaković” Foundation, is granted to authors whose works of exceptional significance in the field of fine and applied arts, were exhibited or publicly displayed in the Republic of Serbia within a two-year period, this time – from September 1, 2023 to September 1, 2025.

The Panel, consisting of the President and a SASA Corresponding Member, Mrđan Bajić, SASA Corresponding Member Miodrag Tabački, laureate of Ivan Tabaković Foundation Award Jelena Trpković, Professor Jasmina Čubrilo, PhD, and senior curator Una Popović, thoroughly reviewed twenty-one outstanding nominations received. Five shortlisted candidates were considered before making the decision, and they were Vesna Golubović, Biljana Đurđević, Uroš Đurić, Žalt Kovač and Marina Marković.

The SASA Presidency has confirmed the Ivan Tabaković Award Panel’s decision to present the award for 2025 to Artist Biljana Đurđević.
