Thus far, this honour has been bestowed upon Jovan Cvijić, Stojan Novaković, Mihailo Petrović Alas, Slobodan Jovanović and Vladan Đorđević. The year 2021 has been dedicated to Jovan Dučić. On the occasion, a ceremonial session titled ‘A Century and a Half of Jovan Dučić – Jovan Dučić on Happiness and Love’ will open at the SASA Grand Hall, on Wednesday, 6 October, at 12 o’clock. Academician Miro Vuksanović will speak at the event, while the selected texts will be recited by Andrea Obradović and Dragan Vučelić.

As part of marking 150 years of the birth of Jovan Dučić, the exhibition ‘Jovan Dučić – In Search of the Novel’ by academician Zlata Bojović is on display at the SASA Gallery (until 7 November), while scientific, ceremonial and thematic conferences are also planned, as well as the publication of accompanying booklets.
