Scientific Symposium ‘Endocrine Disruptors – New Findings’

The scientific symposium titled ‘Endocrine Disruptors – New Findings’, organized by the Board for Endocrinology and Environmental Factors of the SASA Department of Medical Sciences will open at the SASA Grand Hall, on Monday, 3 October, at 9 a.m.

The conference explores topics related to the role and mechanism of endocrine disruptors’ effects on metabolic diseases, thyroid gland, reproduction and pregnancy.

The symposium brings together some of the most distinguished domestic and world-renowned experts in the field of endocrinology. Along with the SASA members, Academician Dragan Micić, Academician Nebojša Lalić and SASA Corresponding Member Tatjana Simić, the symposium will feature the lectures of Professor Đuro Macut of the School of Medicine of the University of Belgrade, Professor Josef Köhrle of the University of Berlin, Professor George Mastorakos of the University of Athens and Assistant Professor Maria Papagianni of the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki.
