Conference ’On Architecture – Crosscutting and Fusion of Disciplines’

A two-day international conference titled ’On Architecture 2025 – Crosscutting and Fusion of Disciplines’ will officially open on 4 December, at the SASA Hall 3, at 9.30 a.m. The event is held for the 13th time as part of the exhibition of the same name mounted at the SASA Gallery of Science and Technology. As in previous years, the conference is organised by The Sustainable Urban Society Association – STRAND.

The event aims to underscore the complexities of contemporary architecture and open a platform for considering new challenges that architects, urban designers and artists face.

This year’s programme is organised in several thematic blocks, including Phenomenology of Architecture, Architecture and New Media Science, and Technology and Architecture. The conference will feature innovative approaches, new methodologies of research, as well as projects highlighting changes in materials, technologies and space aesthetics. The topics such as holobiontic architecture and probiotic cities, the impact of a changed climate on architectural design, as well as the integration of artificial intelligence into the process of design and artistic creation are particularly underlined. The programme also encompasses presentations of novel ideas and realised projects in the field of architecture, urban design and art.

The event gives prominence to the importance of interdisciplinarity, collective intelligence and teamwork as key elements in understanding and shaping the architecture of the future
