Day of the Serbian Academy of Sciences and Arts

A ceremony marking the anniversary of the Serbian Academy of Sciences and Arts will be held on Wednesday, 19 November, at 12:00 p.m. at the SASA Grand Hall.

The welcome address will be delivered by Academician Zoran Knežević, SASA President.

During the ceremony, the SASA Medal for 2025 in the fields of natural and technical sciences and social sciences and humanities will be awarded (more information). The literary segment of the program will feature the essay ’The Library of My Youth’ and a selection of poetry by Academician Dušan Kovačević, while the musical part will be dedicated to compositions by Academicians Vlastimir Trajković, Dejan Despić, and Isidora Žebeljan.
