Eurasian Environmental Dynamics and Humans: Interactions over Different Time Scales

A two day scientific conference ‘Eurasian Environmental Dynamics and Humans: Interactions over Different Time Scales’ will be opened in the SASA Grand Hall, on Friday, 28 June, at 9.30 a.m.

The latest achievements in research of the environment and the people’s presence integration in Eurasia’s region and changes in this interaction throughout geological, archaeological and historical times will be presented to the scientific community as well as general public by the world’s leading researchers. Extraordinary geodiversity and biodiversity of Eurasia’s region enabled several waves of settling of Hominidae, granting enormous possibilities to understand primordial forms of adaptability of our ancestors. In addition to being scientifically relevant, former evolutive experiences are also important in order to properly address the upcoming civilizational challenges.

The conference is also significant for establishing the LEADER network initiative for development and networking of young researchers in this field, which was funded by the International Union for Quaternary Research (INQUA).
