EXHIBITION ’NATIONAL MASTER BUILDERS OF SERBIA – BY HAND AND CUSTOM-MADE’

The exhibition of photographs titled ’National Master Builders of Serbia – By Hand and Custom-Made’ authored by Stanko Kostić opens at the SASA Gallery of Science and Technology, on Thursday, 15 September, at 6 p.m.

Employing art photographs and panels, the exhibition will visually and textually present the principles of building and the architecture of educated builders.

The solution for a contemporary house, based on the principles of tradition, inspired by the work of Božidar Petrović and other young architects, will also be presented.

The exhibition is open to the public at the SASA Gallery of Science and Technology, until 1 October.

Art photographer Stanko Kostić is a long-standing associate of the SASA Gallery of Science and Technology, where he has had several notable exhibitions: ‘House is Our Great Essence’, on architect Božidar Petrović (2007); on the architecture of the Monastery of Hilandar (2012); and on the caves of eastern Serbia (2017); The Story of Watermills – from the Wheel to the Turbine (2019); Kilim Rugs – the Path of a Thread’ (2021). He has had his works exhibited in over 100 group and 60 solo exhibitions domestically and internationally. He is a recipient of numerous awards and recognitions.
