EXHIBITION ‘THE VOICE OF NATURE – 75 YEARS OF THE WORK OF THE INSTITUTE FOR NATURE CONSERVATION OF SERBIA’ AT THE SASA GALLERY OF SCIENCE AND TECHNOLOGY
The exhibition titled The Voice of Nature – 75 Years of Work of the Institute for Nature Conservation of Serbia, authored by Jelena Kovačević and Jovana Ilić, was opened at the SASA Gallery of Science and Technology. The organizers of the exhibition are the Institute for Nature Conservation of Serbia and the SASA Gallery of Science and Technology. The 75th anniversary of the work of the Institute for Nature Conservation of Serbia is marked with the multimedia thematic exhibition on the natural heritage of our country and its protection within institutions.
The interactive approach of the exhibition showcases unique landscape characteristics, as well as biodiversity and geodiversity of natural heritage of our country in the form of video presentations linked with geographic images of protected regions and species. The exhibition provides an overview of the professional work of the Institute for Nature Conservation of Serbia, through field research, nature protection projects, expert cooperation, publishing activities and educational programmes. As part of the display, there will be exhibits from the geologic collection of the Institute, archival photographs, and visitors will get an opportunity to see the film titled ’The Voice of Nature’ and listen to an audio paper dealing with the communication of the plant world.
The exhibition lasts until 2 September 2023.
