Forum on ’Quantum Sciences and Technologies 100 Years After the Emergence of Quantum Mechanics’
The forum titled ’Quantum Sciences and Technologies 100 Years After the Emergence of Quantum Mechanics’ will open at the SASA Grand Hall on Monday, 17 November, at 9:45 a.m.
The forum is dedicated to celebrating the year 2025 as the International Year of Quantum Science and Technology. On UNESCO’s initiative, the United Nations General Assembly (UNGA) declared 2025 as the International Year of Quantum Science and Technology to mark the 100th anniversary of quantum mechanics. In addition to marking this historic centenary of the emergence of quantum mechanics, the forum provides an opportunity to showcase the most recent findings related to quantum science and technologies, which we witness as the second quantum revolution. Additionally, the forum aims to draw attention to the concerning absence of the Republic of Serbia from this technological revolution, which was prioritised in scientific and technological agendas by the most developed Western European countries and our neighbouring EU member states.
