Identity Plurality: Institutions and Social Dynamics in Serbia
As part of the project ‘Ethno-Confessional Minorities in Serbia’, led by Academician Alpar Lošonc, a panel discussion titled ‘Identity Plurality: Institutions and Social Dynamics in Serbia’ will be held on Wednesday, 18 March, at the SASA Grand Hall, at 11 a.m.
As it links the legal and institutional frameworks of minority protection with empirical insights into the everyday identity practices of ethno-confessional communities, this panel represents a conceptual and analytical continuation of the panels organised during 2025. The dynamics of multiple identities, their articulation and their relationship with the state, media and cultural policies will receive particular attention
The panel will bring together researchers in the fields of social sciences and humanities, as well as experts working in the fields of minority rights, religion and cultural diversity.
