International Scientific Conference ‘Artificial Intelligence’
The international scientific conference titled ‘Artificial Intelligence’, organised by the Serbian Academy of Sciences and Arts, was opened on Thursday, 9 October, at the SASA Grand Hall. This was the third volume of this conference, following the successful completion of the previous two held in 2023 and 2024. The conference agenda included the most current topic in the field of artificial intelligence, which for a number of years has been developing, particularly in the domains of generative artificial intelligence, natural language processing, machine learning, knowledge presentation and deduction.
This year, the conference had an international character, with the participants being from Serbia, Portugal, Great Britain, China and other countries. Lectures by two keynote speakers garnered special attention. The first one was delivered by Professor Álvaro Rocha of the University of Lisbon, who discussed the inclusion of artificial intelligence into health care strategies, while a renowned, globally known scientist of Serbian origin, Petar Veličković, one of the leading researchers of Google’s DeepMind Team and Cambridge lecturer, explored large language models and graph neural networks.
