IX International School and Conference on Photonics – PHOTONICA 2023
The ninth International School and Conference on Photonics – PHOTONICA 2023 is to be held in the period 28 August – 1 September on the premises of the Serbian Academy of Sciences and Arts. The opening ceremony is set at the SASA Grand Hall on Monday, 28 August, at 9 a.m.
This scientific conference has been recognized in international scientific circles as a high-quality forum of extraordinary significance for research in the following fields: quantum and non-linear optics, biophotonics, optical materials and metamaterials, ultra-fast optical phenomena, optical communications and laser technologies.
The conference and the International School on Photonics are co-organized by the Vinca Institute of Nuclear Sciences, the Optical Society of Serbia and the Serbian Academy of Sciences and Arts.
Over 200 scholars from 20 countries will participate in the conference, some of whom are the most renowned names of basic and applied research in light technology development. Three accompanying workshops will be organized and they are as follows: Understanding Interaction Light – Biological Surfaces: Possibility for New Electronic Materials and Devices, Biological and Bioinspired Structures for Multispectral Surveillance and Quantum Sensing Integration within Microfluidic Lab-on-a Chips for Biomedical Applications.
The PHOTONICA 2023 conference is financially supported by the Ministry of Science, Technological Development and Innovation of the Republic of Serbia and the OPTICA organization.
