Career
Freelance artist (1967−1974), assistant at the Faculty of Dramatic Arts (FDU) in Belgrade, Department of Theatre Directing (1974−1979); director of Drama of the National Theatre in Belgrade (1977−1981); invited professor of the Fullbright Foundation at UCLA (The University of California, Los Angeles, Department of Theatre Art)  (1981−1983);  Director and playwright in the National Theatre in Belgrade (1983−1991); director of the National Theatre in Belgrade (1991−1993); professor of the Academy of Arts in Novi Sad, Department of Acting (1996−2001); ambassador of SR Yugoslavia and Serbia and Montenegro in Norway (2001−2006);  professor of the Academy of Arts in Novi Sad, Department of dramaturgy (2006−2008); ambassador of the Republic of Serbia in Denmark  (2009−2014); professor emeritus of the University of Novi Sad and Faculty of Contemporary Arts in Belgrade (od 2014). As an invited professor she held lectures at the University of Illinois Chicago UIC (1996), Columbia College Chicago (2000). Within lecture visiting tours she was a guest lecturer at various USA universities (1985, 1987, 1991, 1996, 1999, 2002, 2003).
