Defended his doctoral thesis (with Academician Bogoljub Stanković as doctoral advisor).
Spent three months on fellowship in Kiel, Germany, 1981/82.

Career
Department of Mathematics and Informatics,  Faculty of Science, Novi Sad: Teaching Assistant until 1979, Assistant Professor until 1984,  and Full Professor since 1988.
