Panel discussion ‘Social Interest and Recommended Steps in the Field of Energy’
The panel discussion ‘Social Interests and Recommended Steps in the Field of Energy’, organised by the Academy Board for Energy, will be held on Tuesday, 23 December, at the SASA Grand Hall, at 10 a.m.
This panel discussion on energy offers a platform for dialogue among experienced, internationally recognised experts through their scholarly and professional work and solutions to fundamental questions. In addition to expert topics, the panel will also address the questions related to social interests in the field of energy, including safety and environmental risks, the issues of security and availability, influence that could derail the governance of energy sector from public to specific groups’ interests, the importance of transparent representation of technical and financial aspects and the need to define more clearly and safeguard the public interst in the field of energy.
With the aim of getting a broader consent, the key takeaways from this panel, along with the text suggestions for Social Agreement in the Energy Field, should be communicated to all interested parties, institutions and individuals. Obtaining a more extensive consensus and acceptance of the document, which is intended to have a broad application and represent a unique synthesis of community expectations toward future decision-makers, is considered desirable.
