Presentation of Colonel Vojislav Anđelković’s Decoration Collection

Colonel Vojislav Anđelković’s collection of decorations, presented recently to the SASA Archives by his descendants the brothers Stefan and Ilija Lukačević, will be exhibited at the SASA Presidency Hall, on Wednesday, 30 October, at 12 o’clock. The authentic design techniques of renowned European medal manufacturers, relief illustrations, national motifs and state symbols displayed on these decorations, place them at the very top of Serbian and world phaleristics.

Colonel Vojislav Anđelković (1880-1979) was a cadet of the Military Academy, an officer of the Army of the Kingdom of Serbia and Kingdom of SHS, a participant of the Balkan Wars and the First World War. For his military merits, he was distinguished with numerous domestic and foreign decorations, extremely valuable and historically truly significant.
