SASA announces symposium ‘Cutting-Edge Science through Research Results’

The symposium ‘Cutting-Edge Science through Research Results’ organised by the Serbian Academy of Sciences and Arts and the Association for Heart Failure of Serbia took place on Wednesday, 1 October, at the SASA Grand Hall.

This scientific gathering presented the findings of a two-year study conducted by the European Society of Cardiology and the Serbian Academy of Sciences and Arts, focusing on the application of modern heart failure therapy in Central and Eastern European countries.

Additionally, the symposium presented the most recent results and further directions of the implementation of the SASA strategic project ‘Heart Failure is Conquerable, Assessment of the Quality of Treatment in the Republic of Serbia – SpaS’.

Given the prevalence and high mortality of heart failure, the treatment of this disease is of enormous importance for healthcare, and therefore, these results are extremely significant.
