Scientific conference ‘Mihailo Marković’

As part of the series ‘Social and Political Thought of the 18^th and 19^th centuries Serbia’, the two-day scientific conference which is to mark the 100^th birth anniversary of Academician Mihailo Marković, certainly the most critical Serbian philosopher of the second half of the 20^th century, opens at the SASA Grand Hall, on Thursday, 30 November at 10 a.m.

Academician M. Marković is a world-renowned philosopher, whose books and papers were published by prestigious publishing houses and journals. He is one of the founders of the journals Praxis and Praxis International.

This event will feature the participation of 20 lecturers, who will present their papers in four thematic units and they are as follows: Analytical Philosophy, Praxis Philosophy, Political Philosophy and Public Activities of Mihailo Marković. At the end of the conference, a film in which Academician M. Marković spoke about the Praxis journal and the Koručula Summer School will be presented to the public.
