Scientific Conference ’Three Centuries of Kant: Knowledge, Science and Values
The Serbian Academy of Sciences and Arts and the Faculty of Philosophy, University of Belgrade are organising a two-day scientific conference titled ’Three Centuries of Kant: Knowledge, Science and Values’, which will open on Wednesday, 10 December, at 10 a.m. at the SASA Grand Hall.
The conference aims to showcase Kant’s concepts both in the context of a historical anniversary and as a theoretical framework which is still relevant for a critical understanding of contemporary scholarly, social and cultural issues.
This event will bring together 50 participants from 18 countries, coming from more than 40 scholarly and higher educational institutions across five continents. It will also feature two internationally recognised plenary speakers – Konstantin Pollock from the Johannes Gutenberg University Mainz and Carla Bagnoli from the University of Modena and Reggio Emilia.
The working languages of the conference are Serbian and English.
