The Third International Conference on Mathematical Modelling in Mechanics and Engineering
The Third International Conference on Mathematical Modelling in Mechanics and Engineering (ICME) will officially open on Thursday, 10 September, in Hall 102 of the SASA Audiovisual Archives and Digitisation Centre (36 Knez Mihailova Street). The event is organised by the SASA Mathematical Institute, Faculty of Mechanical Engineering, University of Belgrade; the Faculty of Mechanical and Civil Engineering in Kraljevo, University of Kragujevac; and the EnDIS Science Society (Scientific Society for Engineering Design, Simulations and Innovations), Belgrade.
The ICME Conference has already established itself as an internationally recognised platform and a traditional gathering which brings together researchers from a broad range of scientific fields, above all the application of mathematical modelling methods to problems in mechanics and engineering. This year, more than 100 papers have been submitted, with participation from several hundred authors from more than 20 countries worldwide. The conference is planned to continue activities initiated in honour of Academician Vladan Đorđević, including a presentation of an award to young researchers who contributed to the field of fluid mechanics.
