The series ’The Young are Coming’ will introduce the artist Filip Najdanović, who graduated from the Academy of Arts in Novi Sad, Department of Painting in the class of Professor Bosiljka Zirojević Lečić. In addition to painting, he has been studying sculpture and documentary photography. From 2022, he has participated in various group exhibitions and projects. Through his creative process, he recognised the significance of space as a framework for the research of inner states.
The series Paintings in a Bathroom represents his current body of work, which explores introspective moments of everyday life through artistic elements and the atmosphere of an intimate setting. A bathroom, as a place of both privacy and routine, has become a symbol of inner monologue, moments of solitude, and confrontations with personal thoughts. The artist explores the human figure, not only as a physical form, but as a visual record of inner life and emotions. By means of space and figure, he embarks on a journey of connecting the personal and universal.
