World Immunology Day

A forum titled “Promotion of Immunology Research Significance in the Service of Health Preservation” will be organized on Thursday, 25 April, at 9.30 a.m. at the SASA Grand Hall to celebrate World Immunology Day.

After the introductory speeches of Academician Miodrag Čolić and Nada Pejnović, PhD, who preside over the forum, six lectures on important and contemporary topics will be presented. They are as follows: Immunisation, Safety and Effectiveness (Srđa Janković); Importance of Virus Vaccine Application in the Elderly (Raisa Petrović); Cancer Immunotherapy (Lazar Popović); while in the second part, the following lectures will be presented: Hygiene Hypothesis– What does the Nature Say? (Ljiljana Sofronić); Immunological Aspect of Tick-Host Relationship: from Bite to Vaccine (Darko Mihaljica) and Nanomedicine as a Long Arm of Immune System (Sergej Tomić)

The Forum is organized by the Immunological Society of Serbia, SASA Department of Medical Sciences and the Academy Board for Immunology and Allergology.
