Presentation of SASA Publishing Activities at the 67th Belgrade International Book Fair
The Serbian Academy of Sciences and Arts (SASA) will showcase its extensive publishing work at the 67th International Book Fair in Belgrade on October 22, 2024, at noon, in Ivo Andrić’s Hall. Speakers at the event include SASA President Academician Zoran Knežević, SASA General Secretary Academician Nebojša Lalić, and SASA Library Director Academician Miro Vuksanović.
The event will feature the SASA series Život i stvaralaštvo žena članova Srpskog učenog društva, Srpske kraljevske akademije i Srpske akademije nauka i umetnosti, [Life and Work of Female Members of the Serbian Learned Society, Serbian Royal Academy and Serbian Academy of Sciences and Arts], which is nearing completion, with the fourth and final volume currently in preparation. The presentation will also include reprints of notable editions such as Duhovno i kulturno nasleđe manastira Studenica,[Spiritual and Cultural Heritage of the Studenica Monastery] co-published with the monastery, Projekat Jadar – šta je poznato?[Jadar Project- What is Known?] and Miodrag Mića Popović: slikarstvo permanentne pobune [Miodrag Mića Popović: The Painting of Permanent Rebellion].
In addition, the Academy will present numerous collections of papers from scientific conferences held at SASA, research monographs in the fields of science and art, and exhibition catalogues from exhibitions held on the premises of SASA galleries.
The editions of the Serbian Academy of Sciences and Arts will be available at the Centre for the Promotion of Science book stand during the book fair.
