Her field of expertise includes the study of neurobiology of stress and memory. In her research work, she has focused on the neurological mechanisms by which stressful experiences shape memory circuits and contribute to maladaptive behaviours in preclinical models. Her rich biography includes over 130 scientific papers, many of which have been published in leading journals (Nature Genetics, 2000, Nature Neuroscience 2013, 2015, 2019, Nature, 2024).
