Welcome Reception for Young Talents

The traditional reception for young talents—high school students who won one of the first three places in international competitions in 2025—was held on Thursday, 16 April, in the SASA Grand Hall. The President of the Serbian Academy of Sciences and Arts, Academician Zoran Knežević, addressed the award recipients, 112 in total.

‘This year, once again, the number of prize recipients awarded by the Serbian Academy of Sciences and Arts is truly impressive. I am convinced that this is the best guarantee that our country, and our Academy, have a future—and that you are that future: talented, diligent, and successful young people gathered here today in such great numbers, as well as those who attended in previous years and those who will do so in the future. I also believe that this recognition by the Academy will serve as an incentive for you to continue achieving even greater success and winning further awards,’ said Academician Knežević.

In keeping with tradition, the young talents were presented with gift vouchers and publications of the Serbian Academy of Sciences and Arts.
